9. The Hermit

The Hermit doesn’t look to the horizon to find wisdom. He takes the solitary journey into his unexplored internal wisdom.

He seeks the inner star which fuelled the Chariot. Having seen his inner power in the Strength card, the Hermit now seeks self enlightenment. From atop his Ego’s mountain, he looks down into his subconscious. Releasing the reigns of control and opening all his senses to truly perceive what he already knows.

You might literally hermit in your studio; fully submersing yourself in your work. As your art is an extension of yourself – it can show you the wisdom you might not consciously know or realise.
